E-Mail & SMS Alerts for Inventory, Assets and Evidence tracking
ASAP Systems allow its users to set alert triggers within the application to notify any designated person via SMS text message to their mobile phone or email address.
Transactional based triggers allow alerts to be set up based on when inventory levels get too low, when assets are disposed, and the like.
Dashboard based triggers allow alerts to be set up based on when checked out items become overdue, when warranties expire, when POs are created, etc.
Examples
If a customer would like to receive an e-mail or a text message to his or her iPhone, Blackberry or Google phone to get notified if the inventory level of a certain item in a specific location just dropped below a preset minimum value, the simple process is as follows:
Step 1:
Launch passport Stock and add or edit a stock item
Under the Min/Max folder tab pick your designated location
Enter some notes
Choose the person you would like our Inventory, Assets or Evidence tracking solutions to send the message to.
Step 2:
Save and conduct any transaction in our inventory or Assets or Evidence tracking systems that will trigger a quantity change below the minimum that you set. Once that is done the alert will be automatically submitted. That Simple.
