ASAP Systems allow its users to customize their own automatic alerts in their Inventory, Assets or Evidence tracking systems. These alerts are triggered by a transactional event via Text messaging to their Cellular phones or via E-Mail.
Examples
If a customer would like to receive an e-mail or a text message to his or her iPhone, Blackberry or Google phone to get notified if the inventory level of a certain item in a specific location just dropped below a preset minimum value, the simple process is as follows:
Step 1:
- Launch passport Stock and add or edit a stock item
- Under the Min/Max folder tab pick your designated location
- Enter some notes
- Choose the person you would like our Inventory, Assets or Evidence tracking solutions to send the message to.
Step 2:
Save and conduct any transaction in our inventory or Assets or Evidence tracking systems that will trigger a quantity change below the minimum that you set. Once that is done the alert will be automatically submitted. That Simple.
