ASAP Systems’ Asset Tracking Solution introduces its all-new Employee-Driven Asset Custody Management.

NEW YORK – Jan. 7, 2020 – PRLog —

ASAP Systems, the market leader in Inventory System and Asset Tracking, announces a new feature to enhance the accountability over assets and streamline asset management.

Our Employee-driven Asset Custody Management Feature aims to increase efficiency and productivity for all levels within an organization and can be beneficial across multiple industries.

Catering to all employees, the Asset Tracking Custody Cart allows an unlimited number of employees, within any sized organization, to request custody over an Asset item. That employee will be held accountable for the specific asset for as long as he has custody over it. In addition, the designated Asset can no longer be checked out by other employees.

All employees will be empowered to browse through available Asset items, run a global search on assets, and even flag their favorite asset model, to appear conveniently at the top for better navigation. All system users will also have the ability to request maintenance on assets that he/she holds custody of.

The Asset Custody Management offers System Administrators the added flexibility to select asset items available for custody transfer and even view the Request History of the asset custodians.  In addition, administrators can also generate reports for the requested dispose, requested maintenance, return requests, and custody requests.

“This is just one more tool users have to increase visibility and make asset management easier and more efficient,”  says Joseph Azzi, ASAP Systems’ Head of Engineers.
