The Passport mobile barcode scanners can upload practically unlimited amounts of data through the synchronization process. This allows the user to authenticate inventory levels, asset locations and property on the spot. In addition to authenticating data, the new Passport mobile software applications allow for data searches and queries on the units themselves, without having to use the desktop application. “We call our Passport mobile software “smart” for this reason,” said Touma.
